February 2007 :: iamdentity attended ITU Focus Group on Identity Management in Geneva, Switzerland.
iamdentity recently attended the first Focus Group on Identity Management in Geneva, Switzerland and we are glad to say that we are already addressing some of the concerns - relating to privacy and data exchange - raised at this meeting in our solutions.
The objective of the Focus Group is to facilitate the development of a generic Identity Management framework, by fostering participation of all telecommunications and ICT experts on Identity Management. The FG IdM is open to ITU Member States, Sector Members and Associates as well as any individual from a country which is a member of ITU willing to contribute to the work; this includes individuals who are also members or representatives of interested Standards Development Organizations.
